Even then, there’s no sane excuse for certain evils of humankind but actual evil.

Satanism is the murder of God, and the replacement of science and reason. But most Atheists wouldn’t pull crazy satanistic stuff, because they still believe in a greater good and social structure… unless… they’re also narcopaths who only pursue their own pleasure and power…

The method of linking on Micro.blog keeps tripping me up. The parenthesis and the brackets are switched backwards in my mind… AND you only need one pair!

Being a columnist is hard. I’ve had so much to say for so long, and by now all the things I thought were right were wrong. I don’t even know what to say, or if what I say is wrong, or stupid, so I sit silently.

“Your opinion which is of no consequence at all”

The internet started as a place of education, right? Look at it now. It’s beautiful, and horrifying, and kind of hard to not stare at…

You can’t listen to everyone’s opinions, everyone’s opinions on those opinions, and still expect to maintain sanity.

Which is more important; Liberty or Safety?

They weren’t kidding when they said, “Give me liberty or give me death!"

Don’t ask of others what you aren’t willing to give.

Why read books when you can play the videogame? Why play the videogame when you can cosplay the game? Why cosplay when you can actually be a knight? Why be a knight when you can learn to use modern weapons and technology? Why use a modern technology when you can build the future?

As a child, I loved reading books. Then, I started reading adult novels. Needless to say, I stopped reading.

Stop writing garbage books! Stick to the classics, and your heart can’t be broken by a lack of good material…

(The last fantasy book I read was Malice.)

You ever draw something, and it comes true?

Made a drawing a while ago of a “mother of peaceful death” ghost, with a square robe and many ripples in the fabric. When a person close to me was very ill, her blanket made the exact same shape and ripples.

Lesson: Channel light.

Been reading about Osceola, the Seminole warrior. This guy held off THOUSANDS of U.S. soldiers using guerrilla tactics and no more than four hundred fifty warriors. Don’t mess with people in their natural habitat – they can and will use it.

Saw an alligator. Ran towards it at full speed. Sploosh, it dove underwater.

Concentrated distractions.

Darkness was there before the light.

Darkness is everywhere where the light is not.

Without the darkness, there would be no light.

So, when we go into the darkness, would that not be more fitting than going into the light?

“According to the American Psychological Association, the most effective stress-relief strategies are exercising or playing sports, praying or attending a religious service, reading, listening to music, spending time with friends or family, getting a massage, going outside for a walk, meditating or doing yoga, and spending time with a creative hobby. (The least effective strategies are gambling, shopping, smoking, drinking, eating, playing video games, surfing the Internet, and watching TV or movies for more than two hours.)”

So that’s why I’m bad at achieving bedtime.

How to Make Money From Your Art

stevepavlina.com/blog/2011… Put the time in to be better than the 99%. You have to make some money, but it’s not the end-all be-all. That means making art that people like, and being able to market and sell it.

Being on the inside is better than being on the outside. Learn to deal with criticism. Publish or perish – don’t try to revive dead projects, just move on and keep creating! Value your customers and your fans, but value your customers especially – they are your financial base.

You have to find your balance for each of the aspects of being an artist – finance, networking, fans, customers, and the actual action of art, but if you can make the art and good financial decisions, being a financially successful artist IS possible.

Money has no inherent value: the entire reason currency exists is to be spent for goods or services with actual value. I think this is most apparent in Bitcoin or other digital currencies, because they don’t have rigid values assigned to them. Or you can live through inflation 😬

There’s a balance between learning to make blogging a habit and blogging just for the sake of catching all life. But my thoughts are all so spontaneous, and if I don’t capture them here, where do they go?

Where do ideas come from?

Why do children always pull off the skin of nuggets? I remember doing the exact same thing.

Time to get in a fistfight with previous self XD

flotus.micro.blog/2020/07/1…

I understand where I was coming from (or at least I should), but I can’t believe I thought we should have a weak central government while appreciating socialism. sigh

Let our way be lit by lightning,

That we may face our shadows.

Let’s run like the wild dogs of yesterday

And fight the aging hours.

Planted sweet potatoes and a sprouting green onion in the compost pile. The rain’s coming down pretty heavy on it, which is good. Machete work is fun, but tiring. I guess that dance move is actually pretty accurate.

Bread and circuses.

“Sir Arthur…”

" I’ll take the yellow ones and the erm… ermine, yes…" “Ahem Sir ARTHUR…” “And remember to tell them to arrange the tables–” “–SIR ARTHUR! If you don’t step into this armor in the next FIVE SECONDS you will be donning this armor BY YOURSELF.”

“…Okay”

I love commercials that tell me how much money I could save, they remind me how much I could save if I didn’t buy the product. But even better are commercials where death is just a side effect. I wonder what the actual effects are… XD
