The internet keeps those who lack the ability to turn it off in a mental infancy, incapable of doing anything else and consuming all their spare time. It isolates, consoles, and weakens the target to a state where you don’t have to think, where you don’t talk to people, and where you never have a spare moment to reflect.

Modern lack of responsibility?
Where is your human spirit? To conquer, to build, to create purpose and to find? The author may be dead, (personally I doubt it) but we are still alive.
No wonder people feel so nihilistic. They’ve finally realized their place in the world. And the worst part is they simply accept it.
There’s simply too much information for humans to process, so instead of being specific about what we want from the internet, we shut down and entertain, ‘we’ being those born into it. Hence, lack of critical thought and the underlying feeling of futility and despair.
I don’t have the answers. I have questions and theories and opinions.
